Canada to Re-investigate into Carbon Steel Pipe/Tube Fittings from China

On June 9, 2010, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) issued an announcement on the initiation of an anti-dumping re-investigation into the carbon steel pipe/tube fittings originating in China, including the normal values and export prices of the products concerned.

On January 2, 2003, the CBSA initiated an anti-dumping investigation on the carbon steel pipe/tube fittings originating in China, the subject goods were under the HS Codes of 73079999.11 and 73079999.19.

On June 27, 2003, the CBSA made a final ruling on this case, to impose an anti-dumping duty ranging from 96% to 153% on carbon steel threaded adaptors originating in China, and an anti-dumping duty ranging from 50% to 74% on carbon steel pipe/tube nipples originating in China.
