The EU Set 34% Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Scanners to Europe

On June 16, 2010, the European Union (EU) released an official announcement, making a final ruling on the anti-dumping case of container scanners originating in China, to levy a final anti-dumping duty of 34% on such Chinese products, slightly down compared with 36.6% in the preliminary ruling, and the period of validity shall be 5 years.

This measure will cause certain negative effects on the exportation of related Chinese products to Europe.
