Ministry of Textile Industry of Pakistan may Extend 15% Export Regulatory Duty on Cotton Yarns for Another 2 Months

According to a report on July 4, 2010 from the Pakistani Business Recorder, the Ministry of Textile Industry of Pakistan is planning to extend the regulatory duty of 15% on the export of cotton yarns, which shall expire on July 26, 2010 as previously scheduled, for another 2 months till September 27, 2010, to help domestic high value-added textile departments obtain raw materials for production under the circumstances of growing prices in global cotton and cotton yarns.
