China-Chile FTA Service Trade Agreements Are Implemented

Since August 1, 2010, the "PRC Government and the Government of the Republic of Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Supplementary Agreement on Trade in Services" (ie Chile FTA Agreement on Trade in Services) started.
China and Chile on April 13, 2008 signed the agreement. Under the agreement, China's computer, management consulting, real estate, mining, environment, sports, and air transport sectors and sub-sectors 23, and Chile, legal, architectural design, engineering, computer, research and development, real estate, advertising, management consulting , mining, manufacturing, leasing, distribution, education, environment, tourism, sports, and air transport sectors and 37 sub-sectors will be the basis of their WTO commitments to further open up to each other.
Implementation of the agreement will help both countries to further open their services markets, enhancing strengths, enhance international competitiveness; help to improve the investment climate, create business opportunities, reduce transaction costs for the two companies and bring more benefits ; also will help promote all-round cooperation in various fields between the two countries, expand cooperation areas and raise the level of cooperation, promote bilateral comprehensive cooperative partnership in-depth development.
Since the 1970 establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Chile have maintained good and stable bilateral relations. November 18, 2005 Busan, South Korea during the APEC informal leadership meeting, President Hu Jintao and former Chilean President Ricardo Lagos witnessed the signing of Chile "China-Chile Free Trade Agreement" (mainly trade in goods). October 1, 2006, "China-Chile free trade agreement" implemented.
