Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of P. R. China, No. 60, 2010: On the Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duties on Imported Acetone Originating in Japan, Singapore, R. O. Korea, and Taiwan Region

In accordance with the decision of the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council of P. R. China, as of June 9, 2008, anti-dumping duties shall be levied on the imported acetone originating in Japan, Singapore, R. O. Korea, and Taiwan region (please see the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of China, No. 43, 2008).

The products involved were under the HS Code in the Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China: 29141100.

Recently, based on the findings of the mid-term review investigation from the Ministry of Commerce of P. R. China (MOFCOM), the Customs Tariff Commission under the State Council of P. R. China decided to adjust the anti-dumping duty rate applicable to the imported acetone originating in an enterprise in R. O. Korea. Relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

I As of September 10, 2010, as to the declared importation of acetone originating in KUMHO P&B CHEMICALS,INC. of R. O. Korea, China Customs authorities shall impose an anti-dumping duty at 4.3%.

II Other matters concerning the imposition of anti-dumping duties on the imported acetone originating in Japan, Singapore, R. O. Korea, and Taiwan region shall still be subject to stipulations in the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of China, No. 43, 2008.
