The U.S. Imposes Final Anti-Dumping Duties of 60.85% Highest on Copper Pipes/Tubes from China

On September 27, 2010, the Department of Commerce of the United States finally decided to impose anti-dumping duties up to a maximum of 60.85% on the copper pipes/tubes with a value of billions of dollars imported from China, one of the disputes leading to trade frictions between China and the United States.
As announced by the Department of Commerce of the United States, anti-dumping duties ranging from 11.25% to 60.85% shall be imposed on Chinese copper pipes/tubes, while the anti-dumping duties ranging from 24.89% to 31.43% shall be imposed on Mexican copper tubes/pipes.
