India Initiates Anti-Dumping Sunset Review Investigation into Silk from China

On December 6, 2010, an announcement by the anti-dumping bureau under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of India indicated that the Government of India would actively initiate anti-dumping sunset review investigation into silk (from 20 grams/meter to 100 grams/meter) from China. The HS Code of the involved commodities refers to 50079000, 50071000, 50072000, 50072010 and 50072090. The duration of this investigation is from April 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. And the duration of injury investigation is from April, 2006 to March, 2007, from April, 2007 to March, 2008, from April, 2008 to March, 2009 and the anti-dumping investigation period.
