India Initiates Anti-Dumping Sunset Investigation into Cellophane Transparent Film from China

On December 20, 2010, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of India received a letter from the anti-dumping bureau of Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry saying they initiated anti-dumping sunset review investigation into cellophane transparent film from China on December 1, 2010. The HS Code of the involved products in the Indian Customs refers to 392071.

This review will make decisions on whether anti-dumping and injury still exist and whether to extend duration of anti-dumping duty in necessary after the end of five-year taxation period. The anti-dumping investigation period is from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010. Injury investigation period is from April 2007 to September 2010.
