On December 10, 2010, the anti-dumping bureau of Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued final ruling of anti-dumping on barium carbonate from China, proposing to levy official anti-dumping duties on China's products.

In the final ruling announcement, the anti-dumping bureau still regarded China a non-market economy country and no market economic treatment provided to China's exporting enterprises. Finally, the dumping margins of 6 China's exporting enterprises were regarded from 50% to 310%, others ranging from 470% to 500%. At the same time, the anti-dumping bureau thought that imported products had made material injury to local industry after their comprehensive consideration of factors like raw material price, labor cost, interest rate, selling expenses, etc.

Finally, anti-dumping rate of 6 Chinese exporting enterprises was regarded from USD 76.06 per metric ton to USD 210.33 per metric ton, for others as USD 236 per metric ton.
