Brazil Initiates Anti-Dumping Investigation into Seamless Carbon Steel Tubes/Pipes from China

On December 21, 2010, an announcement from the SECEX, Brazil decided to initiate anti-dumping investigation (registration No.: MDIC/SECEX52000.032933/2010-40) into seamless carbon steel tubes/pipes (Mercosul's HS Code: NCM 7304.19.00) with their external diameter not more than 5 inches (141.3 millimeters) in accordance with the application from the V & M Tubes in Brazil.

The investigated products are mainly used for gas and oil transfer and their normal value will be fixed by the market price in the U.S.
