China's Ministry of Commerce Terminates Anti-Dumping Measures on Polyester Film from the R. O. Korea

On May 28, 2010, the Ministry of Commerce of the P. R. China issued its Announcement No. 36, 2010, deciding to terminate anti-dumping measures on polyester film imports originating in the R. O. Korea on December 28, 2010. From the issuing date of that Announcement, domestic industries, or natural persons and legal persons representing domestic industries, or related organizations can file an application on paper for final review to the Ministry of Commerce 60 days before the end date of the anti-dumping measures.

On October 27, 2010, the representatives of domestic polyester film industry submitted applications for final review to the Ministry of Commerce. After that, the Ministry of Commerce investigated their applications and attached evidence materials according to law. Finally, the applicants withdrew their applications under the actual situations.

As the applicants withdrew their applications, the Ministry of Commerce decided not to initiate final review investigation, terminating anti-dumping measures on polyester film originating in the R. O. Korea from December 28, 2010.
