Brazil's Anti-Dumping Investigation on China's Poly-MDI

On June 8, 2011, Secretariat for Foreign Trade under Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade released a notice to launch anti-dumping investigations on polymeric Diphenyl-Methane-Diisocyanate (poly-MDI) originating in the U.S., Belgium, and China, involved products under Mercosur HS Code 39093020.

As China is not regarded as a market economy in the anti-dumping procedures, Brazil makes the U.S. a substitute to calculate the normal value of China's poly-MDI.
