India Takes AD Sunset-Review Probe into China's Sodium Hydroxide

On October 14, 2011, India Ministry of Commerce & Industry announced its launch of antidumping (AD) sunset-review investigation into China-made sodium hydroxide.

The investigation period for dumping is from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011, and that for injury is from April 2007 to March 2011.

The final ruling of the first trial was made on November 2, 2001, deciding to impose antidumping duty for 5 years. In 2006, the first sunset review kept the decision.
