India Discloses AD Sunset-Review Probe Facts on China's Silk Textiles

On Nov. 28, 2011, the Anti-dumping Bureau under Indian Ministry of Commerce & Industry disclosed the facts of its antidumping (AD) sunset review on China's silk textiles.

In the disclosure, the Anti-dumping Bureau still considers China as a non-market economy country and authorizes the calculation of the normal value of China's export products by constructed price used in first trial, and the dumping margins of China's products are identified as 60%-70%.

Meanwhile, after the Antidumping Bureau totally evaluates the evidential materials of the applicants on raw material prices, labor costs, interest rates, sale expenses and so on, with firm belief that dumping and injury will likely remain after the 5-year taxation period.
