On Feb. 6, 2012, the Australian Customs & Border Protection Service announced its decision to stop the anti-dumping (AD) probe on China-made electric cables, which launched on Sept. 9, 2011, because of no dumping found through its investigation.

It is estimated that Chinese cable exports to Australia totaled USD 235 million in 2010.
