On February 10, 2012, the United States International Trade Commission released a notice on making preliminary antidumping and anti-subsidy rulings on steel wire hangers originating in Chinese Taiwan and Vietnam, ruling that dumping and subsidy of involved products have caused material injury to U.S. local industries.

According to the affirmative ruling, U.S. Department of Commerce will continue the investigation into the involved products and make preliminary anti-subsidy and anti-dumping rulings respectively on March 23 and June 6, 2012.

The appealers requested 18.90%-125.43% antidumping duties on Taiwanese products and 117.48%-220.68% and micro-scale anti-subsidy duties on Vietnamese products.
