China Mainland Textiles 95% to Taiwan Enjoy Zero Tariff

According to SunSirs on February 21, 2012, China mainland-Taiwan Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) will enter into the second stage of lowering tariffs.

According to the Agreement, 95% of textiles exported to Taiwan from China mainland on the Early Harvest List (original tariff 7.5% or less) start to enjoy zero-tariff treatment from January 1, 2012; meanwhile, original tariffs more than 7.55% are cut down to 2.5%.
