Mexico Final AD Ruling on China's Graphite Electrodes

On March 1, 2012, Mexico officially released a ruling for ending its antidumping investigation into China-made graphite electrodes (HS code 85451101) and levying final antidumping duties as follows:

1. Antidumping duty of 68% on involved products of Jilin Carbon Import and Export Company;

2. Antidumping duty of 250% on involved products of Sichuan Guanghan Shida Carbon Co. Ltd.;

3. Antidumping duty of 93% on involved products of Nantong Yangzi Co. Ltd.;

4. Antidumping duty of 185% on involved products of Henan Sanli Carbon Products, Co., Ltd.;

5. Antidumping duty of 38% on involved products of M. Brashem, Inc. on a specific condition made by the Mexican investigator.

6. Antidumping duty of 250% on the involved products of other Chinese exporters.

The measures take effect from March 2, 2012 and last 5 years.
