U.S. Initial Anti-Subsidy Ruling on China's Crystal-Silicon PV Cells

On March 20, 2012, U.S. Department of Commerce released its preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on China-made crystalline-silicon photovoltaic (PV) cells (see the table below).

According to legal procedures, the Department of Commerce will make a final anti-subsidy ruling on this case in June 2012.

On November 8, 2011, requested by Solar World Industries America Inc. (OR), the Department launched antidumping and anti-subsidy investigations into China's crystalline-silicon pv. cells (whether assembled into modules or not) under HS codes 85016100.00, 85072080, 85414060.20 and 85414060.30.
