[2012-04-23 16:05:04]

On April 19, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that a U.S. industry is materially injured by dumped optical brightening agents from China mainland and Chinese Taiwan.

All six Commissioners voted in the affirmative.

Upon the USITC's ruling, the U.S. Department of Commerce will levy antidumping (AD) duties on those Chinese products.

On April 20, 2011, the Department started the antidumping probe under HS Codes 32042080.00, 29336960.50, 29215940.00, 29215980.90.

On March 20, 2012, the Department finally ruled the antidumping duties 6.2%-109.95% on such Chinese products.
