South Korea to Prolong AD on China & India's Polyester Films

Reportedly, South Korean financial officials say that South Korea will prolong the antidumping (AD) duties by three years on polyester (polyethylene glycol terephthalate) films imported from China and India, with 5.87%-25.32% duty rates levied within next three years.

The country will impose 25.32% punitive tariff on Chinese manufacturers including SHANTOU SOE FIRST POLYESTER FILMS CO., LTD., Yihua TORAY Polyester Film Co., Ltd. (YTP), Jiangsu ZhongDa XinCaiLu International Co., Zhejiang Wuming Trading Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Navigation Hansen Global Supply Co.; levy 11.72% and 5.87% antidumping duties respectively on Fuwei Films (Holdings) Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Wanhua Co., Ltd., with 23.61% on other Chinese companies involved.

For Indian enterprises, it will levy 25.32% antidumping duty on India's Jindal Polyester Limited (JPL) and 14.63% on Garware Polyester Ltd. and another Indian company.
