EU Quits Antidumping on Chinese Furfural

On June 26, 2012, the EU made a final antidumping midterm-review ruling on China-made furfural under HS Code 29321200, declaring revocation of the antidumping measures from the ruling date because the Chinese furfural price hike has sent no material injury any more to EU enterprises.

The EU started the antidumping probe in July 1993 and made an affirmative final ruling in January 1995; in July 2011, the EU took its midterm-review probe; so far, it has levied the antidumping duty for 17 years.
