Australian Two-Anti Rulings on Welded Tubes from China, S. Korea, Malaysia & Taiwan

On July 3, 2012, Australia Customs made final antidumping and anti-subsidy rulings on welded tubes (HS Codes 73063000, 73066100, 73066900) from China together with final antidumping rulings on such products from South Korea, Malaysia and Chinese Taiwan (as shown in the two tables below).

In September 2011, the Australian authority started the double-anti probe into the Chinese tubes and the antidumping probe into the Korean, Malaysian and Taiwanese tubes.

* The Combined Effective Duty Rates are not only the sum of the antidumping and anti-subsidy duty rates but also that of the following rates:

(1) The subsidy duties of all subsidized items, including the item 20 – hot-rolled steels provided by the Chinese government at a lower-than-normal price;

(2) The dumping duties figured out, which are smaller than the subsidy rate of the item 20.
