Brazil Takes AD Probe on Nylon Wires from China, Chinese Taiwan, South Korea & Thailand

On July 9, 2012, Brazil's foreign-trade authority announced starting an antidumping (AD) probe on nylon wires imported from China mainland, Chinese Taiwan, South Korea and Thailand, which are under Mercosur HS Code 54023119 and 54024520.

Since China mainland is not treated as a market economy, the Brazilian authority intends to choose the value of the South Korean products as the normal value of China mainland products.

Enterprises involved should send back their responses to relevant questionnaires within 40 days from the questionnaire sending dates; other interested parties can apply to the authority for participating in the probe within 20 days from the announcement date.
