South Africa Ends AD Probe on Steel Threaded Rods from China

On July 6, South Africa's international trade commission announced ending its antidumping (AD) probe on stainless-steel and steel threaded rods imported from China, which was instituted in September 2011.

According to the announcement, the China-made products do not take on dumping in South Africa though local petitioners have suffered or likely suffer a material injury, so the South African administration has decided not to make a ruling on whether or not causality exists between the injury and the dumping.
