Australia to Put High Duties on China Mainland Steel Pipes

Reportedly, Australia Customs will impose import duties on steel pipes from China mainland, South Korea, Malaysia and Chinese Taiwan after ruling their dumping into Australia.

According to Australian Home Affairs Minister Jason Clare, some of Chinese mainland steel makers will be charged at as much as 57% duty rate, while Taiwanese Ta Fong Irons & Steel Co., Ltd. will be charged at lowest 2.4%.
