EU AD Probe on Silicon Photovoltaic Parts from China

 
On September 6, 2012, the European Commission started an antidumping (AD) probe into crystalline silicon photovoltaic components and key parts from China under EU HS codes ex38180010, ex 85013100, ex 85013200, ex85013300, ex85013400, ex85016120, ex85016180, ex85016200, ex 85016300, ex85016400, ex85414090.

For the probe, the EU preliminarily decided to choose U.S.-made products as the Chinese substitute to calculate normal product value, and required interested parties to submit remark on the substitution within 10 days from the announcement date.

The EU will take interim antidumping measures within 9 months and give a final ruling within 15 months on the case.
