China to Scrap Duty on Goods from Congo (Kinshasa)

On September 4 and 22, China and Congo (Kinshasa) governments confirmed that China will give zero tariff to 95% of goods exporting from Congo (Kinshasa) to China within 2013.

In 2011, China-Congo (Kinshasa) trade totaled USD 3.995 billion, therein, the Chinese import at USD 3.168 billion and the Chinese export USD 827 million, respectively up 33.9%, 31.67% and 74.7% year-on-year.

In first half 2012, trade between the two countries totaled USD 2.306 billion, therein, the Chinese import at USD 1.888 billion and the Chinese export USD 418 million, respectively up 30.33%, 35.30% and 11.81% year-on-year.
