EU Anti-Circumvention on China-made Bicycles

 
On Sept. 26, at the request of European Bicycle Manufacturers Association (EBMA), the EU authority launched its anti-circumvention action on bicycles made in China but re-exported from Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Tunis (whether or not marked as made in latter 4 countries) under EU HS Codes 87120030 and ex87120070.

The EU started its antidumping probe on China-made bicycles in October 1991 and made its affirmative final ruling in September 1993.
