U.S. Anti-Subsidy Ruling on Magnesia Carbon Bricks from China

 
On October 9, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its preliminary anti-subsidy administrative-review ruling on magnesia carbon bricks from China, providing that Chinese enterprises involved take on the subsidy rates as follows:

Fengchi Imp. And Exp. Co., Ltd. Of Haicheng City and Fengchi Refractories Co., of Haicheng - 262.80%;

Yingkou Bayuquan Refractories Co., Ltd. - 262.80%;

General subsidy rate - 24.24%

On August 19, 2009, the Commerce Department started the antidumping and anti-subsidy probes under HS Codes 69021010.00, 69021050.00, 68159100.00 and 681599.

On July 27, 2010, the Department finally ruled Chinese dumping margins at 128.10%-236.00% and subsidy rates at 24.24%-253.78%.
