EU Anti-Circumvention on China Aluminum Foils

 
On October 23, the European Commission announced starting its anti-circumvention probe into aluminum foils from China under EU HS Code ex76071119 at the petition of Symetal SA, Eurofoil Luxembourg SA, Alcomet, Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products GmbH.

The EU points out with evidences that Chinese enterprises circumvented EU antidumping duties of 2009 on China-made aluminum foils by exporting aluminum foil coils that were later made into relevant products.

In July 2008, the EU started the antidumping probe and in April 2009, made its affirmative final ruling.
