Xinjiang Quits VAT on Livestock & Poultry Fresh Meat/Eggs

As per China national tax policies, from October 1, 2012, Xinjiang Region authority has started to remove circulation value-added tax (VAT) from livestock, poultry and their fresh meat or eggs including pigs, cattle, sheep, chicken, ducks, gooses and their fresh or frozen meat, viscera, bones, and eggs (incl. separate egg liquid, yolk and eggshells).

Mainly, the regional agricultural wholesalers and retailers are exempt from the VAT on those products.
