U.S. Rules Injury by China Hardwood Plywood

 
On November 9, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced its preliminary ruling on industrial injury by hardwood decorative plywood from China.

All six Commissioners voted for the material injury to the U.S. industry by imports of the China hardwood plywood that are allegedly subsidized and sold at less than fair value.

Correspondingly, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue to conduct its investigations on imports of these products, with its preliminary anti-subsidy duty ruling due on or about December 21, 2012, and its preliminary antidumping duty ruling due on or about March 6, 2013, under HS Codes:
