On November 15, in its antidumping final ruling, U.S. International Trade Commission announced that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of steel wire garment hangers from Taiwan that the U.S. Department of Commerce has determined are sold in the U.S. at less than fair value.

Correspondingly, the U.S. Commerce Department will issue an antidumping duty order on the Taiwanese-made hangers under HS Codes 73239990.60, 73239990.80 and 73262000.20.

On October 10, the Department preliminarily ruled 69.98%-125.43% antidumping duties on Taiwanese enterprises involved.
