U.S. Sunset Review Rules Injury by China Honey

[2012-11-21 13:51:57]

On November 19, 2012, U.S. International Trade Commission announced an expedited antidumping sunset-review ruling that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on honey from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an American industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

As a result of the Commission's affirmative determination, the antidumping duty on honey products from China will remain in place.

On October 26, 2000, U.S. Department of Commerce launched the antidumping probe into China honey under HS Codes 04090000, 17029000 and 21069099;

On October 4, 2001, the Commerce Department finally ruled the Chinese dumping margins at 25.88%-183.80%;

On July 2, 2012, the Department started its second sunset review on the case.
