U.S. Probes China Silica Bricks Dumping

 
On December 6, 2012, U.S. Department of Commerce announced starting its antidumping probe into specific silica bricks from China under HS Codes 69010000.00, 69022010.20 and 69022050.20.

U.S. petitioner Utah Refractories Corporation is calling for the antidumping duty at 118.47%-290.12% rates.

The U.S. International Trade Commission will give an injury ruling for the case on December 31, and based on the Commission's affirmative ruling, the Commerce Department will make its preliminary ruling in April 2013.
