U.S. Admin Ruling on China Sized Carbon Steel Plates

On December 11, 2012, the United States Department of Commerce announced a 6th anti-dumping final administrative ruling on sized carbon steel plates from China:

(1) As Baoshan International Trade Corp., Bao Steel Metals Trading Corp. and Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd did not sell the involved products to the United States during the investigation period, they are exempt from this administrative review.
(2) Anshan Iron & Steel Group and China Metallurgical Import and Export Liaoning Company cannot match the requirement on separate duty rates, so they are put under the general rate of 128.59% on the Chinese products.

On December 3, 1996, the United States Department of Commerce started the anti-dumping investigation under HS Codes: 72084030.30, 72084030.60, 72085100.30, 72085100.45, 72085100.60, 72085200.00, 72085300.00, 72089000.00, 72107030.00, 72109090.00, 72111300.00, 72111400.30, 72111400.45, 72119000.00, 72124010.00, 72124050.00 and 72125000.00.

On November 20, 1997, the Department of Commerce finally ruled the Chinese dumping margin at 17.33%-128.59%.

On December 30, 2011, the Department started its 6th anti-dumping administrative review on this case.
