U.S. Injury Ruling on China Silica Bricks & Shapes

On December 28, 2012, the United States International Trade Commission announced a preliminary ruling on silica bricks and shapes from China. Six commissioners voted to reach consensus that the dumping of the involved products made material injury to the industries of the U.S.

On December 6, 2012, the U.S. Department of Commerce decided to make the anti-dumping investigation at the appeal of Utah Refractories Corporation under HS Codes 69010000.00, 69022010.20 and 69022050.20. The appealer asked for levying the anti-dumping duties of 118.47%-290.12%.
