U.S. Admin Ruling on China Polyester Staple Fibers

On January 11, U.S. Department of Commerce announced an administrative antidumping final ruling that, on polyester staple fibers from China, Chinese maker Zhaoqing Tifo New Fiber Co., Ltd. took the dumping margin of 9.98% and general makers (including Far Eastern Industries (Shanghai) Ltd. and Far Eastern Polychem Industries) took the dumping margin of 44.30%.

On July 3, 2006, the Commerce Department started the antidumping probe under HS Codes 55032000.65 and 55032000.45;

On April 19, 2007, the Department finally ruled the Chinese dumping margin at micro-scale to 44.30%.
