U.S. Admin Ruling on China Magnesium Metal

On January 9, U.S. Department of Commerce announced an administrative antidumping preliminary ruling that, on magnesium metal from China, Chinese maker Tianjin Magnesium International Co., Ltd. took no deal worth investigating during the investigatory period;

In addition, the Commerce Department ruled that, in this case, the investigation into this company should not be canceled but be continued as per latest requirements on non-market economy.

On March 25, 2004, the Department started the antidumping probe under HS Codes 81041900 and 81043000;

On February 17, 2005, the Department finally ruled the Chinese dumping margins at 91.31%~141.49%;

On May 29, 2012, the Department started its 6th administrative review on this case.
