U.S. Rules Injury by Import Frozen Warmwater Shrimp

 
On February 7, U.S. International Trade Commission announced that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of frozen warmwater shrimp from China, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam that are allegedly subsidized.

Correspondingly, U.S. Department of Commerce will continue its anti-subsidy probe and give its preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on March 25.

On January 18, the Commerce Dept started the anti-subsidy probe under HS Codes 03061700.03, 03061700.06, 03061700.09, 03061700.12, 03061700.15, 03061700.18, 03061700.21, 03061700.24, 03061700.27, 03061700.40, 16052110.30, 16052910.10.
