India Probes China Insulators Dumping

Requested by WS Industries (India) Ltd., Modern Insulators Limited, Insulators and Electrical Company, Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, and Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd., on September 5, India authority started an antidumping probe into China-made insulators under the HS Code 8546.

The involved products are the insulators made of glass or ceramic, assembled or not, but excluding (1) the telegram or telephone insulators with rated voltage not more than 1KV, (2) electric/electronic insulators with rated voltage not more than 1KV, (3) composite insulators.

The dumping survey period is April 1, 2012-March 31, 2013; the injury survey period includes April 2009-March 2010, April 2010-March 2011, April 2011-March 2012, and the dumping survey period (April 2012-March 2013).
