U.S. Probes TCCA from China & Japan

On September 19, the U.S. Commerce Department announced starting an anti-subsidy probe on trichloro-isocyanuric acid (TCCA) from China and an antidumping probe on the TCCA from Japan to determine whether the subsidy and antidumping acts caused material injury or injurious threat or material retardation to U.S. domestic industry.

The U.S. International Trade Commission will make a preliminary injury ruling for the case around October 15.

The U.S. appealers are Clearon Corp. (South Charleston, WV) and Occidental Chemical Corporation (Dallas, TX); the relevant HS Codes are 2933.69.6015, 2933.69.6021, 2933.69.6050, 3808.50.4000, 3808.94.5000, 3808.99.9500.
