U.S. Sunset Review on China Non-Malleable Iron Pipe Fittings

On October 21, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced starting an expedited sunset review for U.S. antidumping on non-malleable cast-iron pipe fittings from China in order to determine whether canceling the antidumping measure would lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury by the Chinese products to domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

On July 10, 2008, U.S. Commerce Department gave a final ruling which specifies the dumping margins of 7.08% by Jinan Meide Casting Co., Ltd.; 6.34% by Shanghai Foreign Trade Enterprises Co., Ltd.; 75.50% by other Chinese enterprises involved.

The pipe fittings are under HS Codes 73071100.30, 73071100.60, 73071930.60, 73071930.85.
