[2013-10-29 17:27:50]

On October 25, U.S. Department of Commerce announced starting antidumping and anti-subsidy investigations into oriented electrical steels from China, and an antidumping probe into such steels from Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Poland and Russia, at the request of AK Steel Corporation, Allegheny Ludlum LLC, and the United Steelworkers.

Accordingly, before November 20, the U.S. International Trade Commission will make relevant preliminary rulings on injury to American industries.

On any affirmative ruling by the Commission, the Commerce Department will issue corresponding antidumping and anti-subsidy duty orders.

This case is U.S. first double-anti probe on China steels over the past 44 months, involving the HS Codes 7225.11.0000, 7226.11.1000, 7226.11.9030, 7226.11.9060.
