India Keeps AD Duty on China Paracetamol

On October 28, India authority confirmed a final ruling for Indian antidumping (AD) on paracetamol from China to continue with a five-year antidumping duty at USD 787/ton under the HS Code 2922.2933.

On January 22, 2002, India made an affirmative ruling for its antidumping probe on the China-made paracetamol, which launched in January 30, 2001;
In August 2012, India started its sunset review on the case; in August 2013, it finally ruled that canceling the antidumping measure would lead to more aggressive dumping act and bigger injury to domestic industry and therefore the antidumping duty should be maintained for 5 years.
