The U.S. Cancels Admin Review on China Active Carbon Firms

On December 23, U.S. Commerce Department canceled its administrative antidumping review on China-made active carbons for some of Chinese enterprises, including Shanxi Industry Technology Trading Co., Ltd, Shanxi Xuanzhong Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Tianjin Maijin Industries Co., Ltd., and Xi'an Shuntong International Trade & Industrials Co., Ltd. because domestic Calgon Carbon Corporation and Cabot Norit Americas Inc withdrew their petition for the review.

On June 3, the Commerce Dept started the administrative review for the investigated period of April 1, 2012-March 31, 2013 under HS Code 38021000.
