Sri Lanka Raise the Import Duty on Milk Powder and Scallion

According to the Ministry of Consumption Affair in Sri Lanka, their government decides to raise the import duty on milk powder and scallion to protect the profit of domestic milk powder industries and farmers. For the sharp declines of milk powder price in international market,the Ministry of Consumption Affair said they will not raise the purchasing price of milk powder even though the duty increases.
