Brazil Temporarily Cut Import Tariff for Some Mechanical and Telecommunication P

Brazil Foreign Trade Council released announcement on 5th February that, import tariff for 147 kinds of mechanical equipments and telecommunication products reduced to 2% and two kinds of telecommunication products realized zero import tariff as from 5th February to 31st December, 2010.

It is known that, this tax relief mainly involved railway (51.12%), metallurgy (7.14%), civilian construction (7.05%), petroleum (5.44%) and capital goods (5.40%).
