Vietnam Lowered Import Duty on Certain Vehicles

According to the report from Vietnam Economic Times on March 11, Vietnam Financial Department recently announced to lower the import duty on certain vehicles. Among them, the import duty on gasoline-fueled 2.5L 4-wheel dual-drove vehicles not exceeding nine seats was adjusted from 83% to 80% from April 23, and the tariff for other 4-wheel dual-drove vehicles was 77%. The import duty on 2.5L below gasoline-fueled autos and diesel oil vehicles kept at the original 83%.
